PRESIDENT

Scott started in the insurance industry in 2002 working in agency management and consulting. In 2009, he joined Sheets Forrest Draper and currently runs the day to day management of the office along with working with clients on their home and auto insurance.

Scott was raised in Marion and currently lives in Marion. He’s truly a local insurer with many years of experience. He has served on the Marion Chamber of Commerce and he’s married and has two children. When he’s not at work Scott loves to go golfing and camping.

CPCU, VICE PRESIDENT

Spencer graduated from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and Emmett J. Vaughan Institute of Risk Management and Insurance. He is a certified Charter Property and Casualty Underwriter, CPCU. His unique experience as a business insurance underwriter allows him to assist his clients with the complex nature of business insurance.

Spencer has served on the Board of Directors for Marion East Cedar Rapids Rotary Club. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife, two sons, and daughter, and takes the chance to travel, bike and golf whenever he can.

CIC, CPIA, CWC, ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Chad Dunne is an Account Executive at Sheets Forrest Draper Insurance. Chad started with the agency in 2008 and is a Certified Insurance Counselor, CIC. His primary focus is to work with business owners to manage their insurance program along with their home and auto insurance.

Chad lives in Marion and he is an ambassador for the Marion Chamber of Commerce. Chad and his wife, Molly, have three boys. When he’s not at work, Chad enjoys golfing and attending his boys’ sporting events.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Austin is a Commercial Account Executive for Sheets Forrest Draper Insurance, with a focus in advising businesses on their total cost of risk. His knowledge of different risk management policies and tools help businesses reduce their overall cost of risk. He also helps business owners with their personal home and auto insurance.

Austin lives in Lisbon and is engaged with two kids. He serves on the Lisbon Pride Boosters Club, a local fundraising group for the Lisbon Community School District. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, hunting and fishing, coaching youth sports and traveling.

DIRECTOR OF COMMERCIAL LINES

Whitney has been working in insurance for the past ten years, as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and an Account Manager for Life Insurance and Annuities. As the Director of Commercial Lines she oversees the Commercial Account team and makes sure all of our commercial businesses have the best coverage and service possible.

She and her husband reside in Marion with two boys and a little Pomeranian dog. She's active in the community, serves on the board of Foundation2, loves to be walking/running outside, and being with her family.

CPRM, CIC, CISR, DIRECTOR OF PERSONAL LINES

Tara has been in the industry since 2004, her expertise is in advising families with advanced personal insurance needs. This includes assisting clients that have homes in multiple states, unique cars, collections, assets titled in trusts, or high-profile careers.

Tara is passionate about connecting with the community. She’s a regular Junior Achievement volunteer, lead Captain for the “Marion Leadership in Action” program, and in 2023 founded the Marion Women’s Collective Networking group, called “HigHER Collective” During her down time, she loves to spend time outdoors with her husband, son, and rescue dog, Bruno.

PERSONAL ACCOUNT TEAM LEAD

Donna serves the SFD personal lines clients as an Account Team Lead. She started in the insurance industry in 1997, and her attention to detail and extensive knowledge of personal insurance serves our clients well when they need advice and assistance with their policies. She’s here to assist with the day-to-day needs, including advice and assistance with coverage reviews, claims assistance, and billing or change requests.

She grew up in Guttenberg, Iowa and is married, has two adult daughters, a dog and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, going for walks, and reading.

PERSONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Kelly has been in the industry since 2006. She serves the SFD personal lines clients as an Account Manager, making sure all of our personal lines clients have the best coverage for their needs.

Kelly lives in Center Point with her husband and has two sons. When not at work, Kelly enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting and also finds time for hobbies such as gardening, sewing and painting.

PERSONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Kim serves the SFD personal lines clients as an Account Manager. She started in the insurance industry in 1987 and is always ready to go above and beyod to make sure clients’ needs are met.

When not at work, Kim loves to take trips in order to discover local history, nature, music, and dining attractions. Kim also enjoys boating, motorcycling, gardening and spending time with her family.

PERSONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Kelly has worked in the customer service industry since she graduated from the University of Iowa and has been involved in the insurance industry since 1999.

She is an Iowa native who currently works remotely from her home in Nashville, TN, handling quoting for existing customers. She and her husband love spending time with their two children in Minnesota and New York.

PERSONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Cody is a Personal Account Manager for SFD Insurance, joining the team after graduating from Mount Mercy University and working in the insurance industry for the past year. While at Mt Mercy, he majored in Actuary Science with a minor in finance. Having grown up in Center Point, he loves Iowa's tight-knit communities, and enjoys Marion and all of its thriving businesses and friendly residents.

Outside of work, Cody continues to love playing basketball. He also enjoys fishing, working out, and playing board games with family and friends.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Lisa is the smiling face that you see when you enter the SFD office. As Office Administrator, she assists with company projects and keeps the office running smoothly. She’s been in the industry since 2015, and is a licensed agent. Lisa will assist as a back-up for the SFD agents by being able to assist with personal lines related questions or coverage needs.

She lives in Cedar Rapids with her husband and dog, Chloe. When not at work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her kids & granddaughter, re-enacting the War of 1812 across the country and Canada, and traveling.

COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Kelly Smith started in the insurance industry in 2002. She has worked locally in personal lines, commercial lines, life and health insurance.

Kelly lives in Marion with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys the trails, reading and traveling.

COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Molly graduated from the University of Iowa and is passionate about local businesses and her community. She has been in the insurance industry for the previous 6 years and is excited to be at a company that cares about its community so much.

She lives in Marion with rescue dog, Tommy, adopted on a reservation. She beads jewelry in her fee time and is also a former musician - she plays violin piano and guitar.

SAFETY DIRECTOR

Aaron-Marie started her career in safety nearly two decades ago by serving four occupational health providers. Her work in treating workplace injuries and illnesses soon dovetailed to prevention through hazard identification, workplace training, and detailed policy, procedure and program development.

Aaron-Marie serves commercial clients as an outsourced safety director to assist companies in keeping workers safe, insurance costs low, and businesses OSHA compliant.

She is an Iowa transplant and lives in Marion with her husband and three sons.

CONTROLLER

Amy has worked for Sheets Forrest Draper since 2018 and manages all of the behind the scenes of the agency. She’s in charge of accounting and payroll, and keeps the day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Amy works remotely from Long Prairie, Minnesota, where her husband and three children enjoy Stock Car Races and ice fishing.
