Company Spotlight: AirFX, Hiawatha, Iowa
Spencer Stephens and his administrative support team have been extremely helpful in making sure our business is insured properly. As new business owners, Spencer took the time to understand our business and to explain the coverage we would need for our business. Not only do they insure our business, but Sheets Forrest Draper has been excellent in finding us an affordable insurance carrier that takes care of our personal insurance needs too. AirFX is a staple for families in the Cedar Rapids Metro area and we love taking our kids here too! Read more about their story and some new additions to AirFX below.
AirFX was started in 2014 as the first trampoline park in Eastern Iowa. We (owners Tina and Doug) purchased the business in July 2019 because we saw the potential for what AirFX could become. We want to build upon the success of AirFX and offer more ways for families and friends to have fun together.
In 2019 we began the first phase of upgrades. We renovated the outdoor mini golf course with new turf and landscaping in the summer. In the fall we installed two new ninja warrior courses and a soft play structure inside the park. Then in early 2020 we opened our new Clip 'n Climb® harnessed climbing area.
With so many attractions, AirFX is a great place for birthday parties, club or team celebrations and other group events. We have party rooms and space to accomodate a large number of people. Families can purchase memberships so they can visit the park as much as they want, and receive discounts on food, merchandise and events. This year we are also offering summer camps for kids age 6-14, with a full week of fun instructor-led activities.
The Cedar Rapids area is a terrific place for families to live. We love being a part of this community, and giving families more options for healthy fun. Our mission is to improve the lives of those we touch through activities that engage, challenge and connect them to others. If you haven't been to AirFX in a while, we would love to connect with you.
